Win an Invitation to Mind Games Book Launch!

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below, and tell me why you'd like to come!

This competition is now closed.

And the winners (yes, that is winnerS!!) are....

Charnell, Fatima, Hedda, Sarah-Jane, Raia, Elizabeth, Katy and Millie.

Though Fatima - and everyone! - you are responsible for your own travel. So I'm guessing Fatima won't be able to come, but I didn't want to leave her out.

I didn't intend to have everyone be a winner when I set this up. I did this for my last book launch, and had one winner and then invited another three, and I thought I'd do the same sort of thing this time. But as there were only eight who entered, I thought: what the heck?

Please send me a message in the contact form below with your email address, and then I'll send you the invitation.

Hope you can make it.

Note: Please fill out the fields marked with an asterisk.

Details:

The book launch is 27th February at Blackwell's in Oxford, which is a short walk from Oxford train station.

You are responsible for your own travel to Oxford, and may bring a chauffeur/parent and a few friends, too.

It is from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.

The winner will be chosen at random.

This is open for three weeks; it closes at 2 pm on the afternoon of 16th Feb (UK time).

Thank you for entering, and good luck!

And if you don't win: I will also be doing a public event in Oxford that you can come to:

This will be in Blackwell's on Saturday 28th Feb at 1 pm (time tbc).

Hey! I know this is late but I really wanted to come. I only just found this is on here so couldn't get it in on time. But I thought I would try anyway. I love the slated series and it's cool as my name is similar to kylas, I live in the same area and my birthday is November 3rd! Sorry for it being late! I really want to meet you!

I am a HUGE fan of yours and I really enjoy your specific writing style. While Veronica Roth basically took Suzanne Collins's idea and modified it a little into a new novel, you used the dystopian mold and transformed Slated into a completely different and much more beautiful story. I've been trying to finish writing my first novel, and you are the one who inspired me to start it in the first place. I read the excerpt you put on your website, and I LOVED it. You're an amazing author, Teri!

I would like to come to your book launch as I have met you once before at a book read and signing in Thame, where I was introduced to The Slated Trilogy by yourself and as soon as I had brought the book, I fell in love with them. And now to here that you have another book coming out, made me all the more happier. So I would love to be there when you launch the new book. It would also be a birthday wish and treat for me as my birthday is on the 25th Feb. I hope that whoever wins, enjoys themselves at the book launch and has an amazing time meeting you, like I have done. Best wishes from an avid reader, Sarah.

I loved your first books and I'm so exited to get my hands on the next! If this book is half as good as The Slated Trilogy it would still be amazing. My love for reading took off when I read The Hunger Games and ever since then I was looking for something that could beat it and Slated definitely did. I then introduced the trilogy to my friend who also adores it and would be ecstatic if she thought we could meet you in person as would I! I hope you continue to write because I will definitely continue to read. Congratulations on the new book I hope It does fantastically!

My reading experience really began when I read Slated for the first time, and ever since then I have been anticipating more enchanting books from you! I even had the chance to meet you in person a few years ago when you visited my school, and I would be truly grateful to do so again! It has been a long time waiting for your new book 'Mind Games', and I honestly am glad it is coming out soon because it would be impossible to wait any longer! You truly are an inspiration to me, and are most certainly worthy of many awards!

I would love to win as you are my favourite author ever! The slated trilogy is what got me into reading. I also have a blog called Book Bird Fiction and to attend an event like this would be fabulous for both me and my subscribers :)
